KITE Engineering was responsible for the design of the emergency lighting and safety signage system revamp at the IKEA store in Padua.

Over 600 luminaires will be installed throughout the store, replacing the existing system. The selection of technology and installation method—considering that the store remains open to the public—was evaluated through a value engineering analysis. This process assessed installation times and costs in relation to ease of installation and future maintenance, while also taking into account system modularity and the potential for future expansion.
