Tender Assistance

We offer complete assistance in tenders for MEP systems and for other types of highly complex systems. This includes a series of interventions and tasks ranging from the collection and analysis of tender documents, up to the invitation and installers or General Contractors meeetings.

We also offer the research, identification and reporting of suitable companies for the project execution, verifying their qualifications and authorisations, experience, technical and managerial skills, in accordance with tender specifications.

MEP Systems plant Management

We take over MEP Systems plant Management that includes control and management of all engineering works related to the construction of mechanical, electrical, photovoltaic, fire prevention systems and acoustic design.

We manage all necessary work for the construction of technological systems by supervising Contractor and subcontractors activities, both in the technical and construction site phases, through surveillance, instructions, service orders, and in the administrative phase, supervising all accounting paperwork, to ensure compliance with the contract.

The MEP Systems Operations Manager supervises and controls the contractor’s compliance with the correct execution of works, reporting to the General Works Manager (GWM). The GWM ensures the correct project execution according to contractual terms, in full compliance with all regulations. The GWM duties are:

  • Plant construction management.

  • Supervision and evaluation of all executive projects and related supply limits, for tender contracts drafting with the contracting companies.

  • Control of the correct and punctual implementation of the project in the construction phase.

  • Contractors coordination (in agreement with the MEP Manager) through meetings and activities evaluations.

  • Contractors’ Technical assessment of subcontracting requests.

  • Technical-economic verification of any change proposed by the Contractors or requested by the Customer, drafting support for any supplementary documents.

More specifically, the KITE Engineering Works Manager carries out control and supervision in the following areas:

  • Plant engineering works evaluation.

  • Work journal checks.

  • Coordination with the General Works Manager.

  • Service orders drafting

  • Validation and approval of construction drawings and materials by the Contractors.

  • Answering Contractors complaint.

  • Verifying and accepting supplies with respect to the DoP Declaration of Performance and CE markings.

  • System usage and maintenance manual.

  • Verification and approval of the work time schedule presented by Contractors and feasibility check according to the partial and final delivery times.

  • Work completion report drafting after checking that works have been completed and are fully operational, according to contract requirements.

  • Tests and sampling material execution.

  • Issuance and approval of the Work Progress Report and payment certificates preparation.

  • Final documents evaluation (as-built, certifications, reports, other).

  • Training assistance for system operations and maintenance.

  • MEP Systems Delivery Report to Clients.

Testing, Commissioning and End of Works

Testing, commissioning and completion of works include checks during construction, pre-testing in the partial delivery phase and final testing. We offer Testing services to evaluate the results of the plant construction works, reporting any anomalies. Likewise, the Commissioning service implements a series of procedures, checks and evaluation activities, to verify work completion and MEP Systems good functioning, supervising all phases, from design to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and any other type of system; analysing work quality and project objectives fulfilment.
